Very simple site design, but I'm a bit confused as to the content.

Why such huge text graphics in the links?

<note> I'm assuming that the links contain all text because that's what I saw as I loaded them. I did not, however, load them fully because of the length of time it was taking.

What is it with threads having valid topics one minute and then dots for topics the next today?

Makes it kind of hard for someone reading it to understand the content of the thread if they did not previously know the topic.
