47" 1080P for under $2,400

no name brand scares me.
but yeah my 45" Sharp Aquos cost me $3400 so this is a pretty good price

From what I can tell, the Westinghouse case is cheaper plastic versus audiophile type black aluminum for the EyeFi. Still, the Westinghouse comes out to be around $300 cheaper if in stock. A toss up...although I want a black TV as well :<

I don't know if i could really justify $300 just for the metal. I guess if you've already spent a ton outfitting the rest of your home theater to color match or something it could be justifiable.

But seriously since I don't plan on doing anything to my tv that would require it to be made out of metal the $300 cheaper part sounds good =p

Too bad I have to PAY TAXES AT J&R ARRGH...
Actually I have to pay taxes at Walmart anr Sam's club too lol.

Take note folks, "audiophile type black aluminum" drastically improves picture quality and response time, as well as add numerous high end features that other brands don't offer.

LOL, ok...if I have to put a price on the black aluminum it might not be worth $300 :> Although, I can get this TV now.. from many reports the Westy 37" + sets have been OOS for many weeks.

I picked up a Sceptre 37", the picture was good...but I ran into the power problem many have been experiencing. Turn it off, it goes into a sort of suspend mode and will not come back on with remote or on/off on the set. The only way to get it back on was to unplug/plug back in. Costco was way easy to return the Sceptre and an earlier Vizio I picked up.

The Westy is only OOS at a couple of locations, I bought one yesterday after comparing 4 different etailers that had them. Oh, price was $1259 + 49 shipping btw, which is great for the 37w3

The Westinghouse is also a well-known and well-respected LCD brand, haven't heard of eyefi before.

Both seem like pretty good deals though, LCD prices are dropping quickly.

Better quality, cheaper price, bigger screen.

agreed

Im not so sure about the sony Lcos. It's still a projection and the newer Lcos will cost some $. I read a huge article on sony's lcos but im still not sure if it has a better viewing angle or not form regular projection TVs.
