Its a great price, but these TVs have crappy picture. Even HD TVs of this size is not as good as a good Sony Wega. I've bought the best tvs in all size and brands so I know what I'm talking about.

It's better to save the money for a good Sony WEGA 36" than getting a comparably priced projection tv. Anything else is all marketing hype.

Its people that have no idea what they are talking about that give projection sets a bad name. This set "might" be garbage, but there are plenty of great HD projection sets out there. You really think your Wega looks better than my Elite when watching DVD or a digital or HD OTA feed? You must be kidding.

I bet they increased the price to $1500 so that noone else would order it. If it were a real Best Buy price, it would be $1499.99. Obviously they want the insanity to stop as well. Now if someone at Best Buy had only thought of that yesterday when they knew they were not going to get any more, then we wouldn't have all of these hysterical people wnating their $525 TV.

progressive scan dvd ok, normal dvd player wega wins, and considering 90% of the time you can't get a digital signal on cable, your tv is actually only better 10% of the time, because if you think an hdtv looks better than a wega or any flat tube tv with analog cable you really should get your eyes checked

I got the same email. Followed within 1/2 day with the one I posted earlier in this thread.

This deal is DEAD...no more...it has ceased to be!
