CONSUMER ALERT: This television receiver has only an analog broadcast tuner
This LCD has no tuners.
Price is nice, if thats all you can spend on a 42" LCD, but as someone who has owned that exact LCD for 16 months, I wouldnt buy another based on my experience. A week after the 1 year warranty expired, I started to see a thin dark line with red tinted bars 3" to the outside of the dark line, on both sides of the edges of the standard viewing area when watching Wide screen with light backgrounds being displayed. Many reports on AVS forum about these sets having "lockup" problems, (have to unplug them and plug them back in, to get them to respond to remote, mine does that, firmware ver. 1.19), sparkles on screen when feeding 1080P to TV on HDMI cable, from XBox, etc, (mine shows sparkles at times from OTA HD with HDMI input, mostly on NBC prime time shows).
YMMV on what the quality of the individual "re-certified" LCD you get, (supposedly the "new" firmware fixed the lock up problems, jury still seems to be out on "sparkles" over HDMI cable input issue, on AVS forums.
This panel did have excellent picture quality when new, for its day, info on the AVS forum on how to get into service menu and adjust the RBG colors to you liking, panel comes with a little too much RED "push", (faces a little to pink to some AVS forum owners eyes), when colors set at the factory.
