The part of the warranty that scares me:

If it is determined the product can not be repaired, the customer will be required to ship the unit to VIZIO's service center, per the terms and conditions of the VIZIO Limited Product Warranty.

So, get a bad screwdriver turner and it costs you a fortune.

Isn't things like that standard for all tvs in general?

Having them pickup your tv and send you a brand new one at no charge to you seems highly unlikely. Yet in this instance it is at no charge to you.
EDIT-unlikely doesn't mean impossible look at the below posts

That's a hot deal! I just called their "extended warranty" number and the rep explained all the terms & conditions. For those that care, their contact number is 1-800-988-4196.

Warranty Prices are below...
5yrs - 149.99
4yrs - 124.99
3yrs - 99.99
2yrs - 79.99

whats their dead pixel return policy? I didn't see anything in their return policy page (and if you find something does it apply to reburbs)

looks like a good deal

thanks
