Unless I missed it, I'm surprise this hasn't shown up in the thread. No matter what the outcome, I'm sure, as with most people who believe the conspiracy, if the "original" birth cirtificate is reveiled and authenticated, they still won't believe it because it does not fit with their agenda.

Ambecrombie made a nice point about the perpetuation of a lie like this is not only insulting to Obama but the legacy of his parents...who Niel knew so he says...

You don't have to be a racist to question President Obama's citizenship.

You just have to be an imbecile.

This excerpt is especially telling:

. . . and birth notices in two Honolulu newspapers were published within days of Obama's birth at Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu.

So reporters actually found newspapers from 1961 announcing Obama's birth. And STILL the birthers don't believe Obama was born in the U.S.

Calling these people imbeciles is a compliment.

and this just goes to show that the methods of the right work

repeat 9/11 and Iraq enough, and a similar percentage of Rep's still think Saddam had something to do with 9/11

this is another example

the fact that we have a moderator defending these birther morons is sadder still

Give people enough rope to hang themselves with and they usually do.
