401K question

1. Does my company's 401k contribution count as a part of the 401k federal $15500 limit?

2. If the answer is no, then if I contribute my $15500 and the company puts in an addition ~$3000, then were does this additional money go? Does it go into the same 401k account?

... usually with vesting, so you have to stay at the company up to 5 years to fully "own" the employer match.
