<EDIT2>

:| Take a pill people. :| You'll live longer if you don't take things so seriously. :p

</EDIT2>

<EDIT>

Oops. I guess it was posted before (see below). :eek: Guess I don't hang around the Shrub/Bore threads quite enough. :p However, I am still looking for Gore and Chretien stuff. Anyone have some? If so please post.

I somehow figured Russ would be the first to cut me down if it was a repeat (or even if was not). ;)

</EDIT>

Heheh. ;) I would appreciate some Gore and Chretien stuff too, but I haven't seen any yet.

Dunno if all these quotes are verified, but they are amusing nonetheless. (A few sound suspiciously like Quaylisms though.)

LOL...Russ takes personal offense to that. Russ must be a "compassionate conservative" just like little Georgie, hmm? "Compassionate Conservative" ... I put that right up there with "Jumbo Shrimp" and "Military Intelligence" :D

Where in Russ's post did he convey being offended? It sounded more like he was just mildly annoyed. And where does the 'compassionate conservative' even come in? Do you even know what compassionate conservative stands for? If not, here's one very brief facet.

A compassionate conservative is someone who isn't going to just keep propping you up when your down. To 'enable' you. A compassionate conservative is going to help you attain education and training to help you get back on your feet, and not to be dependent on the government. A compassionate conservative wants people to truly be independent and self-sufficient. Will it require hard work? You bet.

Conservatives too often get a bad rap of not caring. That's just not true.

No, that is not an oxymoron. If you read the previous post, you'll see what it means. You're placing too much emphasis on 'conservative'. And do you know what 'compassion' means? It's not 'enabling'. It's understanding. It's allowing one an option. It's not welfare.

You're kidding, right? Well let me tell you something; I wouldn't be in this country if it weren't for the Nazi brown shirts! Yeah, that's right. Don't give me your elitist attitude. I'll run circles around you as far as history is concerned. What is going on in the Democratic Party is very similar to what happened in Germany in 1933. The people buy it, and bang! No more rights. You have a lot to learn whipper-snapper.

Anyways, everyone, this was supposed to be a lighthearted thread. :| Where are the jokes?

As Jim Carrey would say (and I think he's pretty dumb, but Im going to quote him anyhow) "Luuuuhuuuzuherrrrrrrr"

You know, the two "major parties" couldnt have picked anyone worse if they had ran Tom Green. I hate that punk, but lets face it, bush and gore are just as bad. Tom Green would actually make for an intresting president. He could rub his ass on some prime minister or soemthing. I mean americans actually find this crap funny. Not even canadians like Tom Green. We need someone who accuratly represents the "American People". Tom Green is that man.

TOM GREEN FOR PRESIDENT

.......
Actually the person I really want for president is Red Dawn!

<< Bush will win. Get over it. >>

I do not believe that hard core , corrupted Democrats will, "get over it".

Not a problem, they will have to accept a Republican Government, like it or not...;)

The people that will benefit most from Republican government,(and the ones to whom we reach out a hand of friendship) are the innocent, who have been enslaved for years, by a vociferous, highly corrupt, Democratic propaganda machine.

I don't really think there is any since in name calling here. Just because of the party I choose to vote for or where I live doesn't make me a bad person. You people need to quit discriminating against everybody who doesn't believe the way you do, and just accept their point of view. You can catch more flies with butter than vinegar.

Eug -- Thanks for updating my list of Bush-lites. :D I'd seen some of them before. If he ends up being prez, by the time he's through, he'll be in line for the Qayle Trophy.

Hey, there is some good news. This election should be a monumental employment project for comedians. ;)

Red -- You may not always be eloquent, but you're going to have to work harder than that to piss me off, especially when you're right about so much of it. ;)

Oops. Running out of smileys. Time to wait for another post.
