That is an RC JET, not a plane, haha.

That thing needs a camera on it, wonder what the range is, haha.

I am surprised they didn't have to clear it with air traffic control.

Even with some of the best RC equipment, that thing could be out of range in a heartbeat..

Damn, thats pretty impressive

That's awesome and all, but at that speed, lose sight of it just a second and it's gone.

It must be very easy to fly those right out of radio range, then the plane is on it's own until it finds someone's head. Fucking awesome though.

So if citizens have these does this mean the military already has a fleet of better models that are weaponized and controlled at video game terminals?

I don't see how something like that would be any fun. It would be out of range so fast, I'm sure it would run out of fuel really fast, and it would be pretty hard to control.

If I were going to go to that level I would make it more like a UAV where it is controlled by a much higher power RF link with a video feed.

hmmm, 36lbs of thrust can do 400mph? o_O

The plane weighs under 14 pounds (saw this on RC Universe before).

Everybody over there says he's probably getting close to 350-400 near the end when its actually at full rpm and light on fuel
