I'm using a newly installed freezer pro 64, on my 4000+, and it's overclocked at around 2.65ghz.

It's running at idle 30C, and loads at 53C..

do you think these are good temps? I'm not sure, because I've seen lower on other computers.. could someone verify? Thanks.. I don't know if I need a reapplication, but it was a hassle getting the heatsink on it. =/

I was running an opteron 146 oced to 2740 and was idleing around 34-35 with same HS and it seemed fine. I think you are golden where you are at.

I wonder about core temp. My temps are all over the place on my x2 3800 oced to 2.5
Bios shows around 32-34 and sisoft shows the same at idle. Coretemp shows around 5+ more? At times it will go from 33 to 42 to -49C in a matter of 10 seconds?

My temps with a X2 3800+ at 2.53Ghz (1.375v) when using CT are questionable as well. I've noticed as much as a 10-11C difference in core 0 versus core 1.

One thing to keep in mind is AMD states the on-die sensor is only accurate to +/- 14C. That's a huge range.

so right now at 2.7ghz, i'm running the max heat test of prime95, the load temps are CPU:55C, and coretemp reads CORE:50C...
which one to believe?
can I further OC? or should I stop here..., how to lower the temps further?
