I have had no experience with Tiger Direct but I have heard Tiger's rebate service sucks. I thin this might be the reason your looking for.

Well personally i would hold out on Video Card a bit longer because there are sales all over the place. I think 1gig of RAM would do much better as well as a 3200+ Winchester Core processor.
