Best advice I've read in this entire thread.

If you don't already have a Sears cc, sign up for one and save an extra 10% off.
 
If it's a new house, don't buy tools. Buy some fans or other accessories that you can install yourself, but save on the cost of the house. They will jack the price of adding those things anywhere from 200-500%.
