can i ask why EVGA made you nervous, but XFX didnt?

when i did my search for product complaints, i couldn't find any hits for the 6800 GT. i found beau coup for the 6600gt, but that seemed to be a problem for all manufacturers, and not just specific to XFX.

eVGA, Leadtek, BFG, Gainward...are all excellent brands.

I'd opt for the videocard. For now your CPU/mobo combo is fast enough with your OC. Getting that 6800GT will probably get you 80% better framerates in games than what you're getting now.

Plus, you should be able to get a 6800GT well below $400.00 now. Choose wisely...

6800Gt definately. Is that a 2.8/533 or 2.8/800. Also, I will buy your old card for say $100. Maybe you can sell your current cpu and get an Athlon 64 too.

Lol Blinkme323; did you see some kind of "I'm a n00b" sign! i'd buy a 9800 Pro for $100 too! It's already got a minimum buyer of $150 from a friend; i'll troll for closer to $170 on the forum before i let it for that though.
