400 Mhz memory in a 333Mhz board

is this a compatible setup?
are there any drawbacks?
a buddy of mine bought his board and is now looking for memory
his board is 333mhz and since the memory is relatively the same price, he was thinking of just getting 400mhz memory!

It's just RATED @ max 400 it'll do anything below that just fine.

If the 333 MHz is CAS 2.5 and so is the 400 MHz, you might have a better chance at the 400 MHz running at 333 Mhz @ CAS 2.0, not a guarntee, but a possibility........
