jeese louise are you guys being tough on a first time poster.... just because at 800.00 it doesnt include any input devices, the ps is a no-name 300W, the video is on the mb, there is no cd or dvd burner, just readers.....doesn't mean this isn't a hot deal.................after all, it does include a free 17" lcd.................let's give Iceboy a proper Anandtech welcome!!

Based on the standard of the original post, I could just as easily post the same deal under a thread entitled:

Get a free Athenateck case, ATI Radeon, AMD Athlon, CPU cooler, 300 W power supply, Corsair 512mb, NIC, 80 Gig HD, DVD and CD!!!!

Then inside the thread qualify the statement that you have to PAY $800 for the 17" LCD.

I hate to crap on a thread, but offereing a basic power supply rated at 300 Watts sounds a bit weak for an Athlon 64 3200 system. I think that, by the time you add the stuff you'd really want with this system, you can do better than this.
