400$ DDR2: Dominator 8500 CL5 or XMS2 6400 CL4 overclocked?

Building a new system (see cooling forum also).
Am just about to buy the memory modules (on ebay).
Which one is preferable: The dominator 8500 CL5 or the XMS2 CL4 overclocked?
Any recommendation for other modules up to 300$ will be fine :)
Will be using th evga 680i MB.

No doubt about it, the Dominator 8500. It overclocks higher, and will handle better timings at lower frequencies.

I "moved" up a level.. tought of buying the Corsair Dominators 8500 CL5 for 400$ (Amazon).
Do you think it's the best for the price range?

Take a look at Newegg. They're offering a $40 rebate. That makes the final cost $331 for the Corsair 8500.
