How are you configuring the 700m with free printer @ $1199 for $719?

That's weird. Gottadeal.com has a 750 off 1499 coupon. Whenever I try to use it, it says it's already redeemed. Does that mean it's expired b/c more than 5000 or (whatever the number is) people have used it? I haven't used it for sure. Just wondering why it would say that. Thanks.

Yes, that means the coupon has expired.

AW is teh suck....overpriced and lousy support. They use a Clevo for their flagship Area-51m, and you can buy it for several hundred bucks less from other vendors (sager, discountlaptops, etc). AW also requires you to login to their site for drivers (unless I am mistaken). :(

Now some Dell notebooks have flimsy shells, but they are prety solid notebooks for the most part. If you are fortunate enough to get a kickass coupon like the $750 off or the 40% off then you really have a win win situation. The Wistron models (700m comes to mind) are some of the best built notebooks around IMHO. Now Dell home support can be a PITA if you aren't tech savvy and get an outsourced tech support agent on the phone. However I have had a lot of experience dealing with the outsourced folks in the spare parts dept and customer service, and all of them have been extremely courteous. One in particular provided me his extension and email address so that I can call him directly instead of weeding thru the queue. He's come in handy over the past 8 months for parts orders. :)

Your opinion is worth squat....

How about backing it up with anything close to a fact....

Yep I just tried it and it's expired, these deals go fast!

However the $750 off $1899 still works as shown in this screen capture.

I just tested and it's still working. May it's the "select models" thing? Which model you tried?

Can you PM me a lnk you're using and step by step instructions?

Yeah, I couldn't get the $750 off to work the other day, but 40% off ain't bad at all.

Trying to debate the 600m vs. 700m...hmmmmm.

I would definitely get the 700m, it's a very nice portable laptop.

Select additional 8 cell battery (5 hr battery life) and get at least 1 year mail in warranty. I upgraded mine to 2 year at home.

Thx for replies. Another thing. On the 750 off 1499 it mentioned an Evalue code for 700m. Does that mean it only works on 700m or can it be applied to other inspirons as well? It says 750 off 1499 on Select Inspirons.
