Maybe you should find a store where they let you look at the TV's with a good HD Signal.
Interesting I did a search on the TV and all the specs were more like UK or EU measurements. It is like comparing apples and oranges compared to the usual models on the US region website. I was wondering if this is like the new 5300 SERIES that is not really available yet.
One think I have noticed about Samsung is that they seem to offer tv's with fewer and fewer connection options on the TV's. They have been skimping on their available connection options. You use to get like VGA, DVI, HDMI, COMPOSITE x2, Coax, optical out, PC mini-jack for audio.
Then you go back and look at the older models in the non-LED models like the LN40D630 and the connection options are feature rich with like 4 HDMI inputs, etc.
