Sandra is showing my P3V4X as only have 2 way bank interleave, and I understand 4 is the best. How do I set it to 4 way? Can't see anything in the BIOS.

Also, sandra is showing my crucial memory as being 2-3-3, whereas it's set at 2-2-2-5 in the BIOS. is this just a mistake?

thanks

the easiest way to enable 4-way bank interleave on this board is to set memory settings in the bios to by SPD. if you change it to anything else, it'll disable 4-way and use 2-way. then you have to play with WPCREDIT to set things aright. so i recommend you run the ram at less aggressive timings, and keep 4-way enabled instead. it's more useful.

playing with WPCREDIT is a sure way to decrease system stability, especially in Win2K. In Win98se it's not too bad. You could set up your system so it just uses 4-way and SPD timings in Win2k, and in Win98se you use wpcredit/wpcrset to make ram timings a little more aggressive. I believe viahardware had a good article about wpcredit tweaking.
