Has anyone ever seen a USB PCI card that has the intel-style motherboard header on it for the internal connection? I am looking to put a cheap motherboard without the USB header into a case that has front panel USB ports that use the motherboard connectors instead of a A-type plug. Kinda off-topic, but I've searched high and low and come up with nada.

Here is one that has USB and Firewire

usb type A port - takes a regular usb connector. good price, fast and free shipping (via USPS, $2.22 to bay area), NEC chip. thanks i2azor! q]

Plugged and played for me under W2K SP4 w/ ECS K7S5A and XP 1800.

Awesome deal. THX, man!

Plug & play went horribly wrong on my system, XP pro, Soyo dragon+, XP1800, fresh install. It kept freezing up when windows located the card. I had to install the drivers, then the card... Quite annoying, but it got done.

I guess I got lucky. Windows just recognized the card and away I went. It showed up in device mgr and works great.

Great deal! Just ordered one, but I found you cannot use Yahoo Wallet right away. You have to get to screen that allows you to enter free shipping code before switching to pay by Yahoo Wallet.

I got the card about 1 week ago. Until yesterday that I installed it. Win2K detect right away and pop I am all up and running. I played around for awhile and plug in my memory card reader. Works great. I haven't test with usb 2.0 function yet. I have 2 external hard drive that uses USB 2.0. It should be alot faster.

O, one thingthat really surprised me was this box it comes in doesn't have a UPC bar code. I looked all over but no bar code at all. It has pic of the card in the front and descriptions and all those but no no no bar code. Weird.
