4 or 8 pin secondary 12v power connector on Asus P6T?

Am finishing up a build on today on this motherboard and the 8 pin 12V secondary power connector on the mobo has four of the inputs blocked off with a small sticker.
Is this the way it is supposed to be?
The Manual is a little unclear on this.
Only 4 pins used on this mobo-is that correct?
I have not done a build in a couple years.

Thanks.

If your PSU has an 8-pin connector, peel off the sticker and use that. If your PSU has a 4-pin connector, let the sticker be. It's there to ensure that a 4-pin connector is not improperly plugged in.

The PSU has an 8 pin that is split into two 4 pins. 😀
It is a Corsair 650TX PSU.

Motherboard Manual has a heading for "24 pin EATXPWR and 8 pin EATX12v Connectors" for the PSU connectors.

Then below it states "Be sure to connect the 4 pin/8pin EATX 12v Connector"
It does not specify which it needs.
Mobo clearly can take an 8 pin and there is a diagram of an 8 pin under the main heading for the power supply connectors, but as I stated there is a sticker over four of them.
Sorry if this is an ignorant question.
