I came across a small stack of them while leaving Best Buy today. There wasn't a price on it but according to website the wii versions is 70 bucks. Seems a bit expensive for what basically amounts to a shell for the wiimote.

I'm waiting for the 3rd party Nyko guitars to come out then I'll get the refund for the second copy I bought and buy one of those instead.

Ya, I just saw the GH3 stand-alone guitars for the Wii and 360 for the first time yesterday. $70 is a hard price to swallow. I've had my two wired GH2 360 controllers for going on a year now, and there's no telling how many button presses they've each seen...but they are still alive and kicking, with no problems whatsoever. I'm in no hurry to pick up a wireless one at the moment.

I've got two wired GH2 guitars and a wired Rock Band guitar for my 360 and I'm strongly considering adding a wireless guitar to the mix. GH2/3 don't play well with the RB guitar (and neither do I) and my GH2 guitars are starting to get a little old. The strum bar doesn't have quite the feel it used to on one of them and the whammy bar is droopy on the other one which makes it difficult to use. Decisions, decisions...

The wireless les paul's are about 5000 times better than that pos xplorer guitar. The xplorer feels so small and cheap. You could probably trade the old guitar in at gamestop to help offset the cost.

Doesn't the Wii GH3 bundle (game + 1 guitar) cost $79 or $89? And here the guitar alone costs $70? damn...
