TERMIN: instead of using this switch as an output switch, you could simply use it in reverse as an input switch for your receiver. then the DVD and one or more of your other components can "share" the input leads on your receiver.

i'll try that and see if it works

which input would i put it on on the receiver??
i have vcr, tape1, cd, LD, and tuner

would it work on the LD(laserdisc)??

Termin: it should work fine on LD or VCR. (I have my multiswitch on VCR2 - how many of us really have two VCRs hooked up to their main TV?)

I love the reviews and specks of the Sima SVS-4. I just wish I could get it for $100. I hate to spend more on an A/V selector than I did on my Apex DVD player. I have found it at no name places for $113 plus shipping, but want to buy it from a reputable company.
