Yeah, like I said earlier, I'm pretty sure this decade will be better than last decade.

My first goal that I've set is to become 'golden' before I turn 30...no problem there...I'm a graduate of Washington State College of Neffing.

My second goal is to clean out some space in the kitchen between now and thursday...I'll accomplish this by drinking the remainder of the dozen or so bottles of alcohol stored there.

After that I'll play it as it lies, less I incur a stroke penalty.

Well, one down...now on to the fun one. If I start drinking as soon as I get home, I should be properly warmed up 17 hours from now when i actually turn 30. Then the serious drinking can begin.

What's the deal about turning 30? I passed it without even noticing and I remember that it never really occured to me I was in my 30's until about 3 years later. The same for 40 although I'm going on 42 now. Maybe its denial but I don't think so; I think I just don't give a sh!t about age and there's more interesting things to think about and more meaningful ways to benchmark your life.

<< What did everyone else here do on their 30th? >>

Nothing yet. I am awaiting the arrival of my 21st in two weeks.

Youth is seriously overrated. Most older people will tell you that their 30's were the happiest time of their lives.

I turn 30 in August and the only thing that I have a problem with is the gradually thining hair. I know that is a petty thing to be worried over, but I can't help but hate it.

My vow is that when the hair thing goes really bad... I am shaving my whole head and going for the cue ball look.

OMG! That's so funny. When I was in high school I had hair down to my ass. By 25 I was thinning and receding. It's pretty bad now. I vowed that when it reached a point I'd shave myself bald...figure at this rate I have about 2-5 years left at the most.

I suppose you could just sort of gradually morph into Gallagher year by passing year... (Until it's time to break out the Sledge-o-Matic and just end it all..)

I'm 33, and when I turned 30, I sort of paused a moment to reflect that my 20's were over and then just went on. It's funny, though, that as you do age you notice a couple of things: You gain a bit more insight on people, and you also notice that time tends to speed up just a bit more each year.

In a few years, you will begin to notice signs of aging. Now that's depressing. (Better stock up on Vitamin E, DHEA, HA, and all that other crap..)
