The Italian Job is good for those that haven't seen it. Big Lebowski is one of my favorite movies. Other than that, not much worth owning. Maybe Starsky and Hutch. Though I thought American Pyscho was hilarious. Especially when he drops the chainsaw on the girl running down the stairs. Though the ending is sort of cloudy, not very well explained. I heard the book presents the conclusion a whole heck of a lot better. Overall its a great concept. Some funny lines in there too but its not for everyone, I know some people that hated it.

HAVE to pick up American Psycho. A great movie, but it doesn't even come close to the book. The movie is more of a (very) dark comedy, while the book is pure psychological horror.

And AVP, the book doesn't explain it better at all, just more hints. It was done on purpose, and there were three schools of thought regarding the ending, which was debunked in the Ellis' latest, Lunar Park, a "ficitonal autobiography".

Either way, for $5 it's a steal.

American Psycho is the most brutal book you will ever read. The movie really didn't do it justice. I had to stop reading at some points and take a breath. He tortures (mace, rats, nail guns, drills) people for 2 or 3 pages.
