lol yeah ive yet to meet a person who smokes that is the type who needs the weed over paying a bill or something, that would be PATHETIC yes I agree.

I'm not trying to say that people who smoke are pathetic. What I'm saying is the ones that do it constantly and don't ever think of anything else (I know a couple of people like this) are pathetic.

The same can be said about anyone who does anything constantly. Drunk, fap, game... there are probably people in this discussion that play wow 24-7. That is equally as lame.

Do any of you unashamed stoners know how many times I've Googled/Facebooked/MySpaced a prospective job applicant and shit-canned their resume because of some stupid pot reference in an online posting or photo? I even had someone drop off an application once while carrying a fake Louis Vuitton handbag where all the little LV and floral print on the bag were little marijuana leaves.

It's not just that you folks smoke, it's not even that it's illegal so much. It's that you folks proudly proclaim your love of weed like it's some kind of religion and you want everyone to know. It's mind boggling.

Most alcoholics will not drink over lunch, but most potheads will get all smoked out.
 
I consume marijuana every day. I do not go to work high, I consume either right when I wake up to help me eat(which is about 4 hrs before I have to be to work) and I consume when I come home from work. Not everyone who smokes weed sits in their moms basement and plays video games 24/7. Not everyone who smokes weed works at McDonalds or Kmart.
 
The ones who use and never hear about are responsible, reliable, and hard-working. They keep it on the downlow so 1) no one finds out 2) they aren't lumped into the same category as lazy, call center-employed stoners. The ones you always hear about are the ones who are giving it a real bad name, namely, the examples given in Paladin's post.

Cannabis has this real "cheese" culture that really needs to go wayward.

how many times have you consumed marijuana? what's your experience like with it? oh you don't have any? oh you're just talking out your ass? being drunk and being stoned/high on marijuana are nothing the fuck alike. PS every alcoholic I know gets a drink over lunch.

If we are going to compare personal experiences: I've had to fire a lot of employees for coming to work high or getting high at work. Not so much for alcohol. Stoners seem much more willing to try and get away with smoking on the job than alcoholics do drinking on the job.

I'm not defending either one, and would fire an employee for being drunk or high equally as fast, just stating my experiences.

Time to grow up man. Trying to justify your habit is making you sound like a douche. You probably get your weed from some 19 year old punk with his baseball cap on sideways and every other word he says is either homes or fool. Have you ever noticed most people who smoke are usually losers? It's usually some punk ass kids or some 50 year old dude living by the river in a tent. I'm sure you've noticed all the other adults around you have moved on from their childish ways yet you cling to the good ole days.

Hey, honest question: I know how much a 6-pack of beer costs, but don't smoke and don't know what it costs. Roughly, what is the cost for the pot smoker who smokes daily?

Is that an expensive habit, or more comparable to the guy who averages a few beers several nights a week?
