4/14-4/15 American Idol Thread

i LOVE it when guest judges actually JUDGE. he sounds like he actually watches the show!
movie night!
george: "against all odds" sigh. i love you george. i thought he sounded good but yeah he wasn't spectacular.
jen hudson: "i have nothing." dude can someone get her to stop yelling please. i really don't like her, even if she does well. she's not my american idol.
JPL: "jail house rock" well he went back to dorky jpl with the dorky dancing and elvis songs. man an elvis night would be so great! anyways, everyone loves jpl, so he'll live to see another week.
fantasia: "summertime" i didn't like it. i thought it was too over the top. judges loved it though.
diana: "my heart will go on." sigh that was NOT good. not at all! sorry diana, but i see another bottom three for you tonight. she can't do celine as hard as she tries. and the way she dressed just doesn't work for her.
jasmine: "when i fall in love" DUDE you have no idea how badly i wanted her to sing "can't help falling in love" from blue hawaii! arghhhhh. anyways jasmine you were good. not phenomenal as i've heard her in the past, but she was good.
john stevens: "some song i forgot from casablanca" what?! sinatra didn't sing sinatra?! he acutally sounded good and when i heard he was doing a song from casablanca i yelled at my TV "he better be wearing a white jacket." he'll live.
latoya: "someday" latoya rules. enough said. she will survive. not to mention that i love west side story but yes latoya was phenomenal tonight.
bottom three: hmm. diana... jen hudson... and maybe jasmine. damn its hard to pick someone to boot but i'd have to pick diana. great voice but just... not showing it.

I think the bottom three will be: Diana, Jasmine, and (hopefully) JPL with Diana getting the boot.
George didn't have a great performance this week, but I think he has enough fans from previous weeks to carry him over. I also hope that once it gets down to crunch time with few contestants, JPL will finally be abandoned by his fangirls.

Even if Quinten doesn't have an ear for music, I'm glad they picked someone with the guts to say what they actually felt. Most of those celebrity judges just smile and say something good about the contestants. It was refreshing to hear an opposing viewpoint even if he was partly wrong.
Crap! I'm missing American Idol because I'm still at work! Can someone give me a play by play in 10 minutes?

In order from best to worst, I would have rathed them: Fantasia, LaToya, Jen Hudson, Jasmine, John Stevens, George, JPL, and Diana.
I have to admit, Jen Hudson is the one perplexing me the most. She's done quite well the last couple of weeks, exceeding my expectations. Before the performances, I probably would have picked her to lose tonight. She might be a dark horse bottom 3 if too many other people vote for LaToya or Fantasia instead of her, however. She doesn't deserve to be this week, but I can easily see it happening.
John Stevens will survive another week. He was pretty lame tonight, but not dreadful. He better not have a bad night the next couple of weeks though, or he's toast.
JPL, your lucky streak will end tonight. You by all rights deserve to be in the bottom 3 for sure, and to have even money odds of being voted out. But you probably won't.
Wasn't George's best night. He deserves to end up in the bottom 3, but probably won't, Jasmine is more likely to be in the bottom 3 even though she doesn't deserve it this week.
