4.0GB USB 2.0 Drive 130$ !!

I wonder how much smaller it is than a laptop hard drive. I have a 30 gig laptop hard drive in an external enclosure and it is really small to carry around. About the same price as that. If the drive is a lot smaller than a 2.5" hard drive then it may be worth it to some people.

I think it has a microdrive in it, Still the price is kinda rediculous in comparaison with the 1GB keys.

I don't know...the cheapest 1GB key I've seen is around $41 AR, and 4x$41 = $164, plus you have 4 things to keep track of instead of 1. Seems a pretty good deal to me.

That, plus Microdrives are much more versatile than flash drives. It's not wise to attempt to run an OS off a flash drive, for instance, due to the limited finite number of writes that can be performed. Swap operations would eat one for lunch. Ask me how I know (a Solaris experiment gone awry 😀)...

I wonder if this is based on the Hitachi or Seagate microdrive ?
Anyways here's some info on it plus a better pix to look at.
