Agassi is a winner. doesnt matter if he loses to Federer. for him to play in the finals at his ripe old age is amazing

Cheap arse fed playing a drop.

why is he cheap arse??
that worked didnt it?

c'mon....he's 35. You don't do that.

Fed wins handily in the 4th set.

Almost Agassi. Almost. Needed to win that 3rd set.

:(

I almost think he wanted to go out winning the US Open.

The time off, the strictly hard court training (his specialty)

Oh well. Good tournament anyway. My fav.

I knew that if Andre didn't hold in that 3rd set it would be over in a heartbeat.

He stopped attacking Federer's backhand.

he retired just after he won the us open.. that is smart IMO.. he knew he cant compete anymore with the young guns.. no one serves and volleys anymore

Good game, Agassi was having a good run 3rd set and Federer had to come back and stomp on that =/

Federer is just amazing. Given, Agassi played excellently today, and I was rooting for him, but just as well, Federer was obviously off his game, specially the 2nd set and most of the third. Federer clearly had Agassi outclassed though, as he does everybody I think. What can't he do well? He breezed through all his service games, and Agassi had to struggle like mad to win his own service games. All in all, a great match (actually I stopped watching after the 3rd set, once Federer got his rhythm/timing back, I was pretty certain it was over).

I'm disappointed in Andre, but I'll always favor him. I've watched him play for years on end, and he's still my favorite (I miss watching some of the other older ones that should still be around).

Ah well. Wait for Wimb. :)

heh, me too.

Maybe its the fond memories of seeing his rebel ass in a new dodge viper, hanging in las vegas boinking brook shields.

I have NEVER been envious of another man, except that scenario right there.
