hopefully this is one of those ota's that bricks or permanently locks the bootloader rendering the tablet much less valuable. ;)

Don't see Samsung doing that on a WiFi only, heavily obselete tablet. What would be the point?

Grabbed the update when I got home from Runcation. ~313MBs. Installed without a hitch.

Played with it a little last night and some this morning. The UI lag from the TW launcher is still present, swiping across home screens still produces stutter. Switching from apps, screen rotation, all still stutter under the TW launcher. From Go Launcher HD, all those are gone.

In menus and lists, there's no stutter. They scroll smoothly. The hitching in the Play store is also gone. And the ICS UI in Play in a big improvement over HC too.

I'm still using Go Launcher HD at the moment, but now that ICS is available, the Tab has access to Apex and Nova. Also, the Chrome browser.

I'm not sure how much longer I'll be staying on stock, now that devs have full drivers to work with though.

Edit - Getting dropped frames in Youtube app though. These videos played smoothly before, in HD. Downloading them with TubeMate, and they play smoothly. Few others reporting the same on XDA.
