Phantronius, I think he was talking about uneven backlighting which is a different issue than the grayish black LCDs produce.

I saved my hard earned money for my 2005FPW got it today no dead pixels but backlight bleeding in all 4 corners..... disapointment ima return and keep trying till i get 0 dead pixels and no or little black light bleeding very little.
