Just wondering if anyone knows if 3rd party ones for the 7800 range would fit the 7900's.
I was looking in to the Arctic-Cooling Accelero X1's as theys eem to do a damn fine job. I realise they dont vent hot air out, but neither do the stock coolers either :p
Plus One slot solution sounds good, unless theres a better dual slot one?

What do you guys think?

I'm thinking Zalman VF900 for both.
I think they'll work betetr then the Asselero X1's and not take up as much space either.

What do you guys think?
Or would the asselero's be better?

Just make sure you get something that also cools the currently "naked" ram as well.

According to Zalmans site, the VF900 comes with ram heatsinks that are also cooled by the main fan itself.

Anymore updates with anyone installing 3rd party VGA coolers on any of the 7900 range?

I've heard that the memory chips are better "naked", and unless you have a quality cooling solution specialized for them, they are fine without.

I can fit the stock 7800GT cooler on my 7900GT, does that help? :)
