My local CVS had Sony Color MiniDisc's 74min 3 pack marked down from $9.99 to $7.49.

Don't know how you scored these, but obviously, my CVS is 3x the price that you paid. Perhaps they made a mistake and marked them down to the price that they were supposed to sell a single disc for ?

Anyhow.. I'd be into checking another store or 2, but it would be helpful if you would post the CVS SKU# so I can figure out if I'm looking at the same item.

They had a $7.49 sticker under the $2.49 sticker... I can scan the receipt if you'd like, but there's no SKU on it.. it says..

1 SONY MINI DIS 3 PK 2.49T
1 TAXABLE ITEM 2.49T

I checked a few more stores, and they didn't even carry the MDs.

Twilight, I think all the CVS over here (LA area) were bought out by SAV-ONS. There used to be one or two stores in Long Beach but they closed out and haven't seen them since for the same reason that I stated.

I just ran down (well, I walked fast) to the CVS here in downtown Charlotte, NC, and they were stickered $7.49. I had the clerk scan one just to make sure, and it indeed came up at $7.49. Apparently this is not a CVS-wide clearence sale... at least not yet.
