yeah it tasted great. i put a little seasoning on the burger too. but after 45minutes of eating i got sick and tired of the taste of meat. that was one of the main reasons for stopping.

I really like the Diet Coke in the pictures. Is that a scrip of Nexium in the RX bottle?

Me and my buddies all went to Fuddruckers one night, the four of us got 1lb burgers and we all polished them off 😀

Sick ass burger though - way to take a run at it! 😀

It seems like the meat would lose its juicyness after cooking it for so long, and the juicyness is the real taste of the burger, not the meat.

Maybe next time you try this, you should cook it like a steak - sear the outside first, and then bake.

what is the in'n'out everyone keeps talking about? links??

If you haven't heard of it, then it's probably too far away from you to get a burger.

But they're a fast food joint, but you can get something like a four by four (four patties, four cheese slices), or s six by six (six patties, six cheese slices), up to whatever you're willing to pay for. There was a guy who did a 20x20 and posted pics online awhile back.

Also, there are some other things you can get - ask for your burger "jungle style", and you get the burger without buns, but rather, wrapped in lettuce. Or something like that. There's a lot of stuff like that.

Nice try JoPh.

I just watched the Movie "Waking Up IN Reno" last night and it had a similar scene where the guy ate a massive steak, I don't remember how many lbs it was but took the entire plate up.

I've eaten the 1 lb burger at Fuddruckers many times with no problem, never tried to eat three of them in one sitting though but I'm pretty confident would be able to do it.

i was confident too..... but this with all the bread killed me.

Next time flatten it out a little more, then you will get a nicer shape. I used to be a line cook on a grill and we would flatten those biatches but they rise right up.

yea your bread was way too big.

now I'm getting hungry.
Maybe I should attempt this tomorrow.
Instead of making such a huge meat patty, you should have made like 2 or 3 and stacked them to make it cook better. NO BURGER SHOULD BE BAKED~! 😀

i dont have the gas in the grill to cook a burger for over an hour.

it came out just like a burger did.

bread was perfect size to hold the burger. just tall. i thought it was perfect fit.

BTW, i think it was last fall but i'm not sure, me and toekramp grilled 2 lbs ribeyes each. It was gooooooood 😀
