3DS owners, how many street pass MIIs do you have?

I didn't think I would get very many given Vancouver is a city of only about 2 million but I now have 11 of them. Neat. The reason is I ride public transit too and from work every day, 2 hours total, and work in a retail store so I pass a lot of random people every day.

Zero but my 3DS hasn't really left my house yet. I'd like to take it around the local malls this weekend and see if I get any hits. I think StreetPass is a clever idea and I'd like to see it in action.

yeah I don't even have it in my person when in my store. Going to try keeping it in my pocket when walking around the mall I work in see if I get more.

Something strange about men roaming the halls of grade schools looking for MIIs.

OoT won't have street pass. However the Mii's I've collected have all been with the 3DS in sleep mode anyway.

Says who :(

I thought all 3DS games do.

Nope a lot of the launch titles don't. Remember street pass has to be implemented by the developer to add some extra content. In SSIV for example you can trade little street fighter figures when you pass someone. Other games might trade high scores or something like that. It would be different for every game and it's up to the developer to implement. Streetpass for Miis is different and has nothing to do with any of the games. So long as both people's 3DSs are on in sleep mode and they have WiFi on they will exchange Miis via street pass, this is part of the OS and has nothing to do with games you play.

Oh what I meant is that can't Streetpass continue to exchange Miis while you play 3DS games?

However it cannot when you play old DS games.

I'm pretty sure you can exchange Miis while playing 3DS games.

I've gotten maybe 5 or 6 Miis just by walking to and from classes on campus.

That is what I thought. So my statement stands: making I'll pick up some Miis once OoT comes out ;)

Got one, after leaving mine in the car in my work parking lot. It hasn't really left the house since I got it.
