3dmark2k1 se nature test weirdness

On my system (P4 2133 + GF3 Ti500 w/28.32), if I run just the Nature demo right after a fresh boot, the scores will be in the mid 30's to the lower 50's during the test. However, when all tests are run, the framerates drop to the mid 20's and max out at 32 fps. Has anyone else noticed this when benchmarking their card? I don't understand why this happens - it could possibly have to do with texture memory not being cleared - but it makes no sense to me. Any input is appreciated.

P.S. My total 3dmark score is ~7600.
 

after components heat up, they tend to lose efficiency (gpu - ram)
PSU's lose 10% of power after 30 min.
also use system monitor to graph cpu usage, pagefile, resources etc. in real time from bootup
