hey all, i'm wondering what the difference between the 2 versions are, and which is better for my needs?

i'll be running a p4 3.06, asus p4g8x-dlx, 1gb kingmax pc2700 ram, crucial radeon 9700 pro

your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean by your "needs"? Just benchmarking? Both are benchmark applications and one is older than the other. Neither is considered to be a very accurate benchmark, but they're very fun to watch. You could just run both and see what your scores are.

you have pretty new hardware, go with 2003. the latest version is the one all the hardware websites will be using from now on.

tho i agree benchmarking utilities are not that useful for the average user.

Dont forget to install the 330 patch to protect yourself against corporate corruption, deceit, fraud, deception, dishonesty and cheating.

screw the patch, just watch it for show. Pretty sweet on a P4 3.06, ASUS P4T533-C 512 RDRAM, 9700 PRO, and AUD2 Platinum sound card. woohoooooos it's just beautiful man, just beautiful.
