3DMark2001 - sucks?

Apart from the Matrix scenes and the coiled up "dog turd" I thought it was pretty shabby compared to the old version 🙁

The program seems nowhere near as well put together as the 2000 version IMHO - for example between scenes momentary flashes of desktops etc.

I disagree, I thought that the scenes were beautifully rendered, and that this demo is much better than 2k. Also it offered more variety. The helicopter demo was essentially the same thing 3 times in a row.

Hmm...yes that white horse was rather asthetically pleasing......NOT 🙂
The carousel....mmm...
The Matrix scenes were good - but that's the best bit for me.
Did u also get the back to desktop thing too?
Compared to Vulpine is is not too bad.

Actually the demo is very nice now that I've seen that - but I'm not impressed with the benchmark in the least.

Did you just press the &quot;demo&quot; button?
Thats where the &quot;nature&quot; demo is contained - it's just the scenes with trees, grass, water etc......
Any luck?
