I upgraded my computer with Radeon ALL-IN-WONDER and Acoustic Edge.
I've been using onboard VGA+onboard sound and dared not to run 3DMARK2001 =)
anywayz, 3Dmark2001 benchmark ran fine initially. But when I set "looping"
option on and ran "demo", the system reboots itself after about 3-4 hours
without no warning.
First, I thought it was stability problem that's related to too much heat from
the videocard... I added an extra case fan and the result were the same - it
reboots again after about 3-4 hours of running...
For no reason, I installed 3DMark2000, which is the older version.
And then I ran "demo" 20 hours straight and it kept running without
any problem...
now I wonder if 3DMark2001 is somewhat buggy...
I'd like to know if others have had a similar problem with 3Dmark2001...
btw, my system spec is
p3-700(100fsb, not overclocked)
2 * 128 crucial pc133 ram
60gig ibm hdd(ata-100)
enermax 330W PSU
radeon all-in-wonder
philips acoustic edge
fdd...case...etc... I think these are all the relavent parts...
many thanx in advance
