That score is abit low for your system, with a Socket 754 Sempron 3100 (1.8ghz) and a Geforce 6600 GT I used to get 3400. I had all signatures blocked which is why I didn't see your system specs.
 
Just found my 3dmark 05 score for my athlon64 3400 (2.4Ghz) and Geforce 6600 GT for comparison (hope it helps!):-

3DMark Score 3345

GT1 - Return to Proxycon 15 fps
GT2 - Firefly Forest 10 fps
GT3 - Canyon Flight 18 fps

CPU Tests

CPU Score 4341
CPU Test 1 3 fps
CPU Test 2 4 fps

Exactly the point..it's pretty obvious something is wrong if people with slower video cards are getting higher scores...

Thats really low for your hardware, something is NOT right!

Are you running 3dmark 05 with default test settings?


Be sure you have anisotropic and antialiasing off in you nvidia display properties too.

 

i get these scores with my rig. you should be very close or higher than mine

Make sure your AGP Chipset drivers are updated. <-- Solves the problem 90% of the time.

(Provided you have AGP, but I assume you do).

lol just jk 😀 ~! but really, OP should check the Nvidia control settings, especially the AA and AF controls. Also he can turn of the fast writes and turn everythin on performance....blah blah blah blah

also, what's the card temps..
 
it was at comepletely default settings when i ran it. i dont know how to update the agp driver. cant find it in device manager

Too low. YOu should be getting close to 5k if not even more.

7800GT, 3700+ @ 2.75 GHz gets about 7000. Overclock my GT a nd I can hit 7800ish.
 
i dont know what im doing wrong tho. when i play bf2 my settings have to be all med or low. it cant run it at 1600x1200. if i run it at 800x600 itll work w/ most of em on high but still no AA. it hits ~74 under load
 
Wife has a NEO2 Plat / Venice/ 6800gt combo.

I use these for her pc with WinXp Nvidia Unified Drivers on hers, the 5.10's are the latest i believe.

I usually just install the whole package after a clean install of winxp, except for the audio driver cuz shes using an audigy 2.
