3dmark05 scoring my X850 XT

Hi,

i have a ati radeon x850 xt 256mb agp gpu and i am only scoring a 5035 on the 3dmark05. Is it bc of my memory sucks and my cpu isnt that fast because my brother scores a little over a 5800 and he has a 3.4ghz northwood and a 6800 GT @ ultra w/1gig of Corsair UL latency.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Your CPU and RAM seem to be holding you back.

For gaming, you need at least a 3GHz proc and 1GB of RAM. Those are the Reasons you have a low 3DMark score.

What do you think my score would be if i got Mushkin HP3200 (2x1gb) 2-3-2 memory?

not much higher, it's mostly the cpu. 3dmark is not affected much by ram. I got maybe 50 points from oging from 512mb to 1gb.

download ati tray tools and auto oc. then back off 5-10mhz from the top oc for a stable oc.
