Yea, i've seen those ones with the fx-57's and the X1800's going into the 14k's but i mean what's normal? More specifically, what would be normal for my computer's specs?:

A64 X2 +3800 @ 2.4GHz
OCZ Platinum PC3200 @ ~DDR400
Sapphire Radeon X800 XT (500:500 stock speeds)
ASRock 939Dual-sata2

I'm getting 5903, is that really low?
Thanks.

3DMark05 is major GFx oriented, so if your card is still stock, sure, it will seem low.
A more "true" bench for CPU/RAM/Mobo/GFx (as a combo) would be 3DMark03, or Aquamark3.
I only get 5732 in 3DM05, (@ 400/1100) so you got me beat already:

Don't let it get you "down", it causes so many insecurities in a user's hardware config. It's a brutal test.
I get 75,858 in AQM3:

Somethings fishy about aquamark. I'm not saying you photoshopped it or anything but i don't think 11,658 + 10,861 = 75858 :p

Okay, that makes me feel better though to know that ~6k is normal :D.

I think Aquamark3 won't run on an X800 series video card like you & I have.

My X800 XL is unable to run Aquamark.

I searched & found mention of a patch that enables enable Aquamark to run on these cards, but I never found the actual patch itself.

Aquamark and its parent company in Germany seem to have gone away, and are no more.

That is one very elusive file!

Anyone have a copy sitting around that they can link to?

[edit: *still searching for the link* is it me or has no one actually "downloaded" the direcpll.dll file and they have just run it off aquamark's servers or something like that. it seems non-existent now]
