3DMark05 score

Hello,

I just built my new machine, as you can see in my sig.
I ran a 3dmark045 default test to see if my score was in the same level as everyone else who has a spec similar to mine.

Everything is at stock speed. Nothing is tweaked, and the 3dmark test i ran was the default (ie i didnt change anything, just pressed the button to run the test).

Im using the 80.40 (i think) forceware driver.

I got 3602 marks.

Is it too slow?
I was checking the futemark´s ORB and found some people with specs very similar to mine, with just a minor 50mhz overclock in the GPU clock with 6000 + marks.

What do you think? Am I missing something? Does a 50mhz GPU OC make THAT difference?

Thanks in advance,
Spilson

Hmmm.
I didn´t think about that possibility.
It makes sense now.

Im gonna see if i can tweak my rig a little bit.

Thanks for the quick reply,
Spilson

wanna beat that score ?
set open gl and 3d settings on your desktop to min...
reboot...
if you know what you doing go to task manager and switch off backround rubbish...
crank pc mark ...
set res to 480x520.......
check all tests...............
l guestimate with your pc around 5000 mark.....
have fun.....
l scored 6067 on an air cooled fx55 with x800xt and 2 gig ram, with water cooling its 10000 plus, have fun......

I get 3411 with 66.93 drivers... going to update and see if that improves any.

Ok, 77.72 drivers made a big change.. now getting 3801. I'd say you're about in line since I'm 450mhz higher CPU wise and running a 250mhz HTT bus.
