Yes the FPS for both those settings should be close together, but will be a little higher on the 1280x1024 res. Fantastic looking game on Ultra settings isnt it? 🙂

i haven't even tried 3dmark on my 6800GT... NFSU2 and MOH: Pacific Assault look fantastic on it though 🙂
 
Dan, my icon looks like this:

(right click)

Performance and Quality Settings: Image settings >, AA settings >, AF settings >, Restore Driver Defaults. None of the subfolders have "Show advanced settings"
 
aha when you left click your Nvidia icon in sys tray look below (atleast I have this) color correction and it should say " NVIDIA DISPLAY" This should show your monitors name then select that. Then you have the Nvidia control panel. Another way to pull it up and you know this is START>Control panel>Appearance and Themes>Change the Screen Resolution>Advanced>GeForce6800GT>Performance & Quality Settings. It will be there. I promise 🙂
