ok, my main rig is the one runnin in my sig, tho i didnt have the proc runnin at 2.6 when i ran it, just had it sittin at 2.4ghz. the 7800gt was at 520/1250 with NV silencer 5(eVGA 516, stock clocks of 470/1100, so not a bad overclock since the reference clocks are 400/1000) anyways with the below setup i got 8319 3dMarks, lookin at reviews lately of 7800gt vs 7900gt which i am steppin up to this seems like an unusually high score, verging on the score of 2 7800gt's according to ORB. HERE is the proof. lemme know whatcha think

Thanks,
Morgash

There are alot of people here with the 7800 GT with scores like that. If I OC my cpu...I could get that with the X18 XL...at stock speeds, I get 7338. There is not close to GT SLI though. Oh, and the link dont work

do a search on ORB, there a PLENTY of 7800gt SLI scores around 8900-9000 marks. if i OC it to the point where is it ONLY stable for the benchmark (540/1280) i can get ~8450 marks. didnt know if this was unusually high or not as in all the reviews ive seen the GT's get in the 7300-7500 range. stock BFG 7800 GTX (460/1300) only gets 8100.

I've seen 7800GT SLI get 7500~ in 3D Mark 06, so you're not even close. Specs of that system are:

Opteron 170 @ 3.0 GHz on H20
2GB DDR400 2-3-2-5
2x eVGA 7800GT OC @ 490/1205

That's an idea...run 3D Mark06 and tell us what the score is? Its excellent in 05 though, I will give you that

Very impressive score for one single 7800GT. My Dell's 7800gt barely makes 7k range. Congrats and enjoy your rig.

Dude, it's a Dell.

That's what I meant! It's not Dell's fault, it's INTEL inside dude!!!! That's why I built my own gaming rig, an AMD.

your score sounds right to me. Look at my system in my sig, it's very close to your's in processor and video card, but I lack dual chanel memory and your fast HDs, my score is 79XX points.

seems normal to me... my 7800gt superclock 470/1100 was doing 7500ish so yours which is overclocked alot more..seems right.

7900gt superclock out the box did 9086
