3DMark05 on a celery 2.8...

My rig is not up yet, but I did get my XT/PE back. It is at stock speeds. I put it in my 8yr olds rig, she has a 2.8 celery. I scored 2905. Would this be average for this system?

not quite
that card normally scores abouy 6000. not sure about with a celeron though; it must be strongly holding your video card back.

Sounds right for a Celeron, 3000 for 05 isn't bad, better than some 9800 pros, note celerons are VERY slow, 128 cache, yuck.

Originally I thought that too. But I think he means his daughter is 8 years old, not her PC.

Note the s.. I think there's supposed to be a quote there.

Anyway...to answer the OP's original question: that score seems low even for a celery. I get 3850 on high quality with a GeForce 6800NU overclocked and default 3dmark05 settings.
