how do i do that? could u plz tell me how...and be sorta specific as im a first time builder

To enter your BIOS, in most cases, you hold down the Delete key as the computer is first turning on. You should be presented with a blue screen that has a bunch of menus. Go through them until you find something called 'AGP Fast Writes.' Turn it off and then exit and save the BIOS by hitting whatever key it says at the bottom of the screen to do so. That should fix it as I had the exact same problem with a BFG 6800 GT OC and my MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum board.

i turned off agp fast write in the bios...same problem... could it be the agp sidebar address thingy right beneath it...its really making me made that this wont work...it has to be a setting somewhere or someting right?

plz keep giving ideas

Q: 3DMark05 sometimes interrupts the benchmark run or demo with an error message and asks if an error report should be sent.
A: We have seen this kind of errors on a few systems with Windows XP Service Pack 2 and a lot of background processes running while benchmarking or running the demo. You should always reboot your system and shut down as many background processes as possible when running 3DMark.

this is off the futuremark faq page...it seems it happens to a lot of people...how do i get rid of the background processes...because when i hit ctrl + alt = del and then hit processes tab i have between 30-40 processes running....isnt that more than there should be? plz help
