Forgot to say my new rig scores 5725 with memory @DDR333 (till new Bios I won't be able to run it DDR400) @stock.
 
5129 w/ the system in my sig. Overclocked processesor (barely) and stock video card speeds.

I think right around 5000 is about right with a 9700 Pro
 
bryan75074, should be able to get a few hundred more points if he can up that fsb a little bit
just put the vdimm at 2.8v and see how far they can go

See my sig for the Stock Score (6522). I'm still working out the kinks in the OC'ing, but have pegged as high as 7198 with questionable stability.

BTW, that stock score is pure stock. BIOS and Video Card were all at default settings.

Edit: I think I found the sweet spot for my CPU at 244MHz FSB. Sig updated with my current 3D Mark Score. 😀
Now to get properly functiong RAM that will run at that speed (Corsair messed something up with this set). 🙁

While you are right about the video card being the largest part of the score, you cant really call that a "$600 rig" when for $600 you get no case, PSU, optical drive, etc.
