I have a brand new build that looks like this:

A64 3200+ Retail
MSI K8N Neo Platinum
Crucial PC3200DDR 1GB
Maxtor 200GB ATA133 7200rpmm 8MB
MSI RX9800Pro 4.6 Cat

When I run either of the 3DMark (01SE oe 03) benching programs, they both run with a reddish/orange hue, no other colors show up. This is my first ATI based video card, so I'm not sure if this is normal or not. Is it?

edit: i just noticed planetside also looks like this, but some other 3d apps don't.

I would suggest trying to update (or downgrade) your current 4.6, maybe to the new 4.7's? Atleast I think there are new 4.7's, I don't have an ATI. Seems like it would be a driver issue if you are experiencing it only in certain situation (i.e. 3D applications).

Figured it out. I deducted that the problem was D3D related, so I checked the D3D settings. For some reason I had Smartshader set to "Classic". Changed back to none and i'm good to go.

ah, the post processing of 3dmark was probably geting confused with the smart shader post processing.
