I decided to run 3D Mark today since I haven't in awhile and below are my results. Are these pretty normal for a system with i5-3570k. HD7950, 8 GB RAM? They just seems a little low to me. Thanks for your input.

Firestrike is the newest version of 3D Mark i dont have a version number or anything for you if thats what you are looking for.

Ran my system two more times and ran my wifes twice.

Mine came out:
1st/2nd

Fire Strike

Then my wifes computer is running a Pentium G860 and a HD 7770 and her scores came out

1st/2nd

All but Firestrike outperformed mine.

Looking at my last Firestrike run i got the following:

Computer:
i5-3570K @ 4.2Ghz
GTX670 @ Stock
16GB RAM

Physics Score

Combined Score

You should post the sub scores as well as the main score. It's easier to see if something is pulling you down.
 
my i5-3570k is @ 4.4 GHz and HD 7950 at 1150Mhz/1400Mhz (stock 950/1250) I should be wasting your scores. well maybe not wasting them but I should be on par or higher. I have to be bottlenecking somewhere.

Your Physics score is what's pulling you down.

*Is your RAM running in Dual Channel?
*Is it running at its rated frequency?
*If your CPU overheating and dropping during the benchmark?

Maybe the CPU is throttling which is causing your Physics score to be about half of mine.

Just get the Physics score up and you will be all set 🙂
 
Dropped OC to 4.2 from 4.4 and big improvement.
